The probable reason for your blackened hulls is soot caused by lower pressures. Look for powders that are faster burning than 700X that will give you higher pressures with the lighter shot charges. As mentioned, Extra Lite is a good choice. Other powders to look at include Titewad and Nitro 100. mg1polo and ganger.

Giving reloading recipes using bushings isn't smart. Since this thread has asked about Titewad AND Titegroup, both denser powders (especially the latter), it's a dangerous practice to use bushings numbers instead of an actual weight. cheddite 209 primers load data. I just got a sleeve of Cheddite primers and can't find any loadind data for my application. 1 oz., AA hulls, Clays, CB1100. Really not looking to change powder bars just to run a different powder just a more efficient powder bar that will more effectively meter different powders without issues. As for needing small charges I have some Titewad that the load data I have from Hodgden goes from 2.8 to 3.3 for 230 grn Lead RN.
