I have been on the 21 and the 24 and the bigger you go the better they are.The lead holds everything together. If the lead breaks - you lose the fish. Pure lead is also more dense then alloy. You would be amazed if you took a small scale and weighed various 8 oz sinkers. Ones made with alloy might only go 6 ozs. Pure lead also pours better and melts at a lower temperature.
