The stock fire control units in a P are machined and better quality than factory Prodigy. The DLC finish is LIGHT YEARS better than the Cerakote on the prodigy, my P has a DLC barrel as well. Dawson red dot plates are 150 to 160 for a Staccato, unless you want to run a DPP, which is only $40 for that kit.

Sep 12, 2022 · The Staccato is a 2011 (frame + grip module) while the Wilson is a 1911 (frame/grip frame + grip panels), but both double-stack 9mm handguns. The grip on the Staccato is noticeably larger, fatter than the EDC. The Staccato is super reliable, a flat shooter, and one of my more accurate shooters (along with the EDC).

Plus, you know, it's a Wilson. $2700 isn't that much more than a Stacatto, especially when you consider Stacatto mags cost basically 2X as much ($40-45 vs $80-100)... so if you're going to end up getting 6-10 mags the original price difference ends up narrowing further.
