There is no direct admission this is quite common in Public universities. So Pitt is located in the Oakland neighborhood, and Oakland has a lot of the major city sights as well. Rumor is that honors college decisions are being sent out tomorrow (Wednesday). DD just got an email saying she had unopened items in her document center. An award of $10k/year ($40k total), in a letter dated mid-December (!) and FHC honors college designation dated 2/28. She had not received any email notices of these things at any point prior.
