Pve definitly vortex because it can proc the exotic perk twice over the duration. You can also make wells twice because the vortex grenades duration is longer than the internal cooldown of the well mods. Vortex is king.So if 4 seconds gives you 85% then 1.75 seconds will give you ~37% grenade energy. IMO this is going to be a huge nerf to controverse holds in PVE. Yeah they can sometimes only give you 15% back but that's rare and at least in my expereinces of maining this exotic for the past 2+ years is they normally give you around 50-70% on average.Erentil is the best due to its naturally high impact and main ingredient can be alright as well. You need as much stability and range as you can get. For perks you want backup plan most of the time but stuff like range finder, hip fire grip and high impact reserves are also good.
