My favorite loads is Remington 20ga hull, Orange Duster wad, 16.5 gr Unique, STS primer, 7/8 oz of shot. For the AA (old style) hull, I use 15.5 gr Hodgdon Universal, Claybuster WAA20 clone wad, W209 primer. If I'm loading one oz loads, I use Hodgdon Longshot and the SP20 wad. Doubled Distinguished. It really depends on what powder you're using, and consequently the volume, if you're using Unique, you're in trouble, if you're using WSF you have more options. I was doing a lot of clays shooting with a Beretta O/U 12 ga and in the interest of saving money decided to try some 7/8th oz shot cups.

Hi Rick: I'm loading 3/4 ounce in the 16 ga RGL hulls with the gualandi 20 ga wad and remington primers - with 15.5 grains green dot. Not pressure tested so use at your own risk (although close to other loads that are on the 16 ga low presure list). The RXP20 shot cup depth is 7/8" with smooth petals and the SP20 is 1" with stitched petals and ribs.
