I can't say for sure but I might have gotten a scav with a skull lock and nvg a while ago but idr. I have never gotten nvg's on night raids as a scav. I've never had a scav with NVGs. Best you get generally is a shotgun with a torch, or a clear night and boosting your brightness.

Yep, you need 5-15 pmc per raid and only after that you can join as scav. Everybody would love to do some quick scar runs to start hideout. Hence, thats why it takes ages to find a game. Also some maps, with mid-late game quests (like Lighthouse) its really difficult to get in as scav.

I literally spam my scav through factory, if he's got good gear I'll just run through to exit and just dump it on my character. Most of the time I just have fun blasting PMC's from the rafters.
