I put a new clutch in this tractor a while back, and it's been working real good for its owner. But then she hooked up a 3 point roto-tiller, and unbeknownst...Take a look and see if you can spot it. Remove the cotter pin and clevis pin. Loosen the locknut on the clevis. Make a one turn adjustment to shorten the clutch linkage, and check to see if the PTO clutch is working. Thereafter, make half turn adjustments and check the PTO clutch. Just barely get it working and stop.4-Another possibility may be that pto shaft after the clutch is twisted off like the picture below, but saying that the pto brake still works much lessens that potential. Correct, that independent PTO is completely independent of the transmission and the clutch pedal. The PTO has its own input shaft from the flywheel that is not affected by the clutch pedal, and there is a separate hydraulically controlled clutch pack and hydraulically controlled brake that engage and disengage the PTO, and the handle just controls the hydraulic control valve.
