If you prefer a slower attack with more power go Fragor but if you prefer quick hits and speed the dual heat swords are better suited to you. Mods are the major factor here and without knowing what you have to work with its hard to narrow it down.

Well Pangolin and Jaw are pretty much crap. Single Heat has more basic melee damage whereas the dual heat sword is more for charge attacks. For trinity i max all 4 skills which leaves me with 8 mod slots. Also its the fastest sword out there i believe, has nodes which increase its rate higher than the cronus. As a personal preference i like my DHS more just for the multi hit function. Dual Heat swords also has a base 30 melee dmg, while Dual skanas have 25. it's stronger than Dual Skanas, or even cronus and heatsword's charge dmg for that case.
