figured it out. pressed DEL during boot to enter bootscreen where I was able to adjust RGB and fan speed. On the top of the hub, there is a wire that goes to the light control button on top of my case which is supposed to turn my lights on and change the colors. No matter what, the lights will not turn on. Previous owner told me he ran the lights from a software, but cyberpower support dude told me its controlled by hardware only.

I can press the buttons on the case to change colors and everything, but I can't really change the mode or the specific colors.
