The alternator wires lay across the alternator bracket and one of them had worn through and was arcing on the bracket. When the wire made contact with the bracket it would send the service charging system message. I only had about 4000 miles on the Vette when the problem started. A couple of thoughts on this. If you screw up something with the wheel speed sensors you cause all 3 functions of the ABS system to fail.
