With this build you're less likely to get scratched. You won't get tired very quickly. You'll run faster and carry more. You'll also hit harder. The only things negatively affecting you really is hearing range. You won't hear zombies pounding on doors and windows unless you're close (about 5-6 squares away).
Go for nimble and long blunt. I would just make a simple one with little to no negative traits except for the very underweight trait. There's enough food around to lose that trait in a couple of days so its almost just free points. Also take lucky. High str and fit, high nimble. All the other things you can grind.Pickaxe is better for combat but the axe works better as a tool. The stone axe is better off as a tool only. The wood axe is in a league of it's own due to the swing speed and devastating power.
