You can unplug them & keep the 2 on the outside still plugged in & they’ll continue to work. I removed my grill & stuck my hand down inside where the sensors are located.We also pumped out all the old brake fluid out and replaced it with new dot 3. My mechanic doubted the old brake fluid was the cause of the ABS malfunction but we decided to flush it anyways based on the mileage and year of the vehicle.
