My issue with Tilian and DGD is that he leans more towards a Urie sound, higher pitched, poppy, instead of a grungier RnB sound which imo is where DGD started started with Jonny and carved themselves a sub-genre in post-hardcore. If Tilian started with DGD they would’ve been competing with other similar bands with similar sounds in post-hardcore.
