Staccato 2011s are a bit too steep for me in price. So, I have done a lot of research and ended up stuck between these two. The stock fire control units in a P are machined and better quality than factory Prodigy. The DLC finish is LIGHT YEARS better than the Cerakote on the prodigy, my P has a DLC barrel as well. The Prodigy is a good thing in that it puts needed pressure on the market. Staccato Ps don't need to cost $2.5k, but it's foolish to expect a pistol thats $1k cheaper to be "just as good". No free lunch and Staccato is still the baseline for a double stack that honest to goodness works from the start.
