I returned the switch to the run position. There is a purple wire attached to the ignition switch. This purple wire is just dangling. The only gauges that work are the fuel gauge, and oil pressure gauge and rpms. The purple wire from the ignition connects to all gauges except speedometer. I don't know the HP rating but it a 1988 searay, i/o w 4.3 mercruiser v6.
