The fore end rattles, but about the same as any other pump gun , that's just how they are. Of mine, the BPS probably rattles the least, Mossberg 500 the most, 870 & Benelli in the middle.

The Benelli is more comfortable to aim, swing, and shoot. It's modular design is a breeze to dis-assemble and clean.The 500/590 is like a 4 door pickup, a versatile workhorse. Good for anything you throw at it. The benelli is more high end sports car. Something breaks you have to buy from the dealership. I rarely see anything for benelli cheap. The 590 you could make it do anything you want with the change of a barrel, and twist of a choke.

I have a Mossberg 500 and a Winchester 1300 and there is more felt recoil on those models. My girlfriend shot my 12 gauge Benelli SuperNova w/ comforTech with no problems. In my opinion, the futuristic looking Benelli just looks cooler. The Benelli will also give you the option of shooting 3.5 inch shells if you ever want to.
