So the tricky thing with First Response is that it picks up such a low level of HCG (like 4 in clinical trials) that it's basically impossible to say whether they're indents or it's picking up on attempts to implant etc that are so early they would normally go completely undetected.Has anyone found FRER have the slightest line that has ended up being an indent line? Way to confuse us! I had a chemical last wk (so definitely faint positive) and tested yesterday to be sure and BFN. However could see the slightest line and pulled it apart and its an indent line. Ive never seen it before with FRER! I have only seen an indent a couple of times on the old FRER and I don't recall them ever developing to look more like a line over time. I will try to wait until tomorrow morning to test again. If it is a BFP, hopefully the line will be more obvious!

I think that both of these brands have their faults, so you'll need to retest in a day or so to see if you get a definite answer. The cb line looks too thin which is typical for their evaps, but like you said it could be early.

She was extremely kind and told me this: They added those visible lines that pop up in the time frame to let the customer know that the test has functioned properly. The ink has gone over it and tested for HCG, and if a white/grey line or anything but pink, that's all it means. Hi ladies, this morning I took a FRER and it looked like maybe, maybe, maybe there was a faint line.Sometimes, as the ink moves across the test window, a small amount of ink gets stuck in the second indent line (the test line).
