First of all, if you're going to run ANY T2 Drills, you're going to want Cloutium Pipes. A Cloutium Intake Pipe exceeds the max water pressure for Iron Pipe and T1 Equipment.What exactly does that do? Bigger chunks? more likely to drop shards+gems?

The hand sorter definately seems like its not checking for water as often as it should be or something cause when ore comes in from the harvester sometimes it falls into the machine like its unpowered even though its fully supplied with more then enough water ...The only thing stopping me from full automation is that sometimes some of the larger dirt clumps lay across the top of the harvester and don't quite reach the grinding wheels. Difference is it works on levels 8-16 while t1 drills only work above 8.

This is a workaround, you can also use the magnet stick to easily clean and merge the small bits to big chunks. #2Some clumps of dirt, if they're too big, can still get stuck in the funnels even if they're bigger. You could try putting a shredder before any funnels, it might help. I just use the angled metal pads to make a funnel of my own and it works great.
