(He is randomizing pokemon roms for one of my friends and I rn, I'm excited). You can probably find the ap patch in ips format and use the ips patcher for the original rom. In otherwords, the guide speaks for the TWiLight Menu++ install and autoboot, nothing more after that. So that's when my thoughts comes in and has this question if is it safe to continuing using camera exploit when I want to use TWiLight Menu++ or the risk is bigger and I should install unlaunch to autoboot it.

Update: I updated the cheat repository with the official twilight updater and Platinum is no longer launching at all, causes a crash to 3DS dashboard. Opening the cheat menu on Platinum also causes a crash to 3DS dashboard. Other games seem to launch just fine.

Nah I'm on the latest 3DS firmware and you can mod it. Although you might be onto something with the whole firmware being the issue though.
