About 6 months ago I had all these warning lights: hill start assist, trail stability, road departure, vehicle stability, emissions system, power steering came on. The service dept reset the alerts and told us to replace the battery.
Charging Problem. My alternator went last week so I replaced it. The problem now is that the system charges at 13.7v but occasionally drops down to 12.4v for 3 to 20 seconds and the battery light comes on. The engine rpm's do not matter. It happens at idle, while cruising at 75 mph and everything in between.Steps so far: Taken the car to AutoZone for a charging system test. Tested fine. Tested the voltage at the battery with ignition off, under load, and at 1500-2000 RMP. Everything tested normal - didn't raise any red flags about alternator or voltage regulator. Sometimes the Battery Light comes on and a mile or two later the VTM-4 light will come on.Wait for a few seconds. Turn on the engine. Starting in late April, 2011, TPMS light comes on after a few minutes/miles of driving - just the letters "TPMS", not the low pressure tire light. I've double checked the pressures and they're fine.
