Along with those I took my Ruger Mark IV Hunter and my S&W Model 41 with three barrels (one scoped and two with Red Dots). My rifles and pistols all shot really well. But the theme of this story is that I Love my S&W Model 41. But with the two extra barrels and the Red Dots along with the scope the model 41 cost me approx. $2000 into it.I prefer the Mark III or IV, but not the 22/45 versions. The grip angle feels wrong even though I shoot 1911's often. The standard Mark grip just feels better to me. I've shot the S&W victory before and again I just didn't feel like the grip was comfortable, but that is all subjective to the user.On the other hand the Ruger Mark IV Target with the improved take down procedure amongst other changes, that Ruger made at the same price point break I'd opt for the Ruger. I'm going to test fire both at a indoor shooting facility with various brands of quality 22RF Match ammunition thus make a final decision. The Ruger MKIV is awesome with the new takedown procedure.
