With Mathews, every mod is optimized for your draw length to maximize performance. So I would start there. I couldn't justify the price for the RX-8, so I looked at the aluminum riser model that's basically the same bow (Ventum I think?), but it has almost the identical specs to the Mathews. So it ultimately came down to the features and the longgggg riser of the Phase 4 33. I already have a dovetail rest and that worked better with the Mathews.That said, after shooting the EC2 cams for a week or so now, it makes the switchweight draw cycle feel like you are stuck in the mud.
