I own a number of double stack 1911's including a nighthawk TRS, staccato p and C2, Wilson combat EDCX9L. Also own a few shadow 2's and a cz custom a01-LD. None of them can keep up with an XC. BUT you have to shoot it fast.

A bulk of the Prodigy issues seem to be worked out since the release. As mentioned Bul seems to be the way to go if you need a Stac alternative. If you plan on growing a collection of 2011's, I would consider that the Bul mags don't crossover to many current 2011 guns. If you have a Glock 17 (and a lot of mags), the Platypus is interesting.The Staccato-C is just as good as the rest. I'm very happy with my C. I'm a fan of well done grips, the stock grip in my opinion was sub par especially since I have well over 12 guns with STI's Costa or DVC grips. They are done for STI by Extreme Shooters. I've owned a number of both. I've had zero issue w/ the 2019 and beyond Staccatos, and prefer some of their features/offerings over the old. I don't think there's been a drop in quality, and by that I mean functional quality.
