I know there is power to the heater just need to test the heater to make sure it is working correctly. Thanks for your time.

My grid heater is not firing up on my 6.7. It is in the single digits at night and no where near the 55 or 60 F function point. I pulled both the solenoid relays off and found the back one not connecting across the poles when excited. So I took it apart and found it burnt across the contacts.1999 Dodge Cummins - No wait to start light. Replaced the intake heater. Intake heater solenoids. Would work for for a day and stop. It is on when the "Wait To Start" light on your dash is on. Cummins uses it instead of glow plugs. The colder the ambient temperature, the less willing your engine will be to start.
