And after doing the battery disconnect/reconnect thing, start the engine and scroll through your digital dash display settings using the left steering wheel control looking for the Engine Stop/Start section. It most likely will say it is unavailable due to not enough voltage.

A couple of days later I start getting almost daily messages to service the Start/Stop system and a check engine light. The code is P0303 (misfire on cylinder 3).After a Pacifica battery is reconnected, the Intelligent Battery Sensor module needs to "relearn" the normal voltage condition. The process involves 5 separate engine starts, with a minimum of 4 engine off hours between each re-start. Couple weeks ago warning light came back on - and I received a recall letter.It is highly possible that the fuel system was failed to start, but the Stop/Start lacks of fuel system detection. So the engine could not start. The only method is turn off the vehicle to reset the computer. I will prepare a wrench in the vehicle to disconnect the battery when another strange issue occurs.
