I have owned 64 actions before and was underwhelmed with the extraction. b14r especially if you like 2 stage triggers as aftermarket swap. Also better factory ignition system and lockup. Cons are difficult to hand feed due to port size for some compared to CZ and only an 18 barrel. Im waiting for Bergara to release a 21-23" barrel with a larger feed port during or after 2023 if they see the current BR adoption trend.
But a cz and bergara will be more consistent and easier to shoot in my opinion. Nature of the beast. For a cheaper 700 foot print practice tool short of Vudoo Bergara. But accuracy wise they all shoot about the same minus the Vudoo. Bergara b14 is a 700 clone that is going to be more accurate and better built out of the box. Better QC and likely a better stock too. If you're talking about 22s, I don't even know if Remington makes a full size 22lr 700 pattern gun anymore. The b14r is an excellent full sized 22 trainer.
