Don't know if this might help, but I did find a thread that mentioned (splice pack) sp423 -- a bunch of grounds packed together on the rear crossmember just behind the fuel tank (and damned difficult to get to). Apparently, corrosion of this pack can even cause engine misfire codes. the orange wire to the blower motor is the ground side. usually this is where the problem is. the blower motor and rsistor ground is under the under hood on the right inner fender well by the air box. you will see a black squared box bolted directly to the fender. this is a ground splice pack. check this out, either one of the terminals is melted or not plugged in good. here is a picture of ...
