If Hodgdon didn't specifically have Claybuster data it would be safe to use the WAA12sl data fot the CB 1100-12 per the instructions from Claybuster.A few years ago I decided to try 7/8 oz, loads so I merely changed to a CB0178-12 wad and a 7/8 oz. charge bar, and loaded away. I was astonished at the performance of that load, as well as the very noticeable reduction in recoil. AND, it cycles my 1100 Remington quite nicely.The AA wad is the WAA12L for 7/8 oz loads. The Purple Duster, (by Down Range), is a clone of that wad. The Claybuster CB0178-12 is also a clone of that wad. Looking for some help with load data. I'm using 45 colts in my rifle and 45 cowboy specials in my pistols. Using 180gr cast boolits. The easy thing to do is fill the case with powder. But I think it's going to cause unnecessary recoil/smoke/noise.
