Its not octane as much as cylinder cooling with additional fuel that make the higher percentages slightly beneficial. Theres a higher percentage of fuel at like AFR with higher percentages.

Sure you can put bigger turbos on and make more power or run a smaller motor but a 427 with this setup would be a great street setup. Great low end and top end.
