The G42 is significantly larger and doesn't have the capacity of the Max. What I like about .380 is that there are true, tiny pocket pistols in that caliber for when you can't or won't carry anything larger. Long story short, I ended with Glock 42, although there were times when I wished I had the LCP II. P.S. Sights on G42 are easier to see in low-light conditions, such as under moon or remote streetlights. Stock lights are not night sights, but at least you have that option. Sights on LCP II are part of the slide and cannot be replaced.
