It is only slightly softer at f/2.8-4, so you can use it in low light situations with ISO400 film with no issue. The Kodak-Anastigmat Ektar is in many ways a typical uncoated 1930s lens – it’s sharp in the centre with some resolution decline towards the edges, but not too much. It is usable from wide open, which is important as it’s a relatively slow lens at f/3.5. Overall, it compliments a fixed lens camera very well.The numbers: Not so good.
