2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working.
When the truck is shut off the gauge goes well past full. I just filled the tank to run the Techron fuel system cleaner, the gauge read slightly over the "F" full mark and took 10.5 gallons. Here are two pics with the full tank of gas. With the truck NOT running see the gauge reading Full. With the truck RUNNING see the gauge WELL OVER FULL.

It was the connecting rod going from the outlet servomotor to the dampers for the center vents. The clips had broken and the push rod was no longer attached. While it was detached, the center vent damper and the floor vent dampers got jammed together.

Maybe it just needs to be recalibrated. Go to the rear fuse box and pull the HVAC-B fuse for about 10 seconds and put it back in. Then turn the key to RUN but don't start and don't touch anything on the HVAC until it has finished recalibrating the actuators.
