3 color+ precons like the Brothers War or 40k precons tend to have really slow lands that can hurt the early game, but the Tyranid deck does ramp decently and can hold its own, it just has trouble recovering from wipes. I would suggest the Necron mono black but it tends to be kinda slow and durdle a bit whereas any of the previous decks move ...

I tested the Warhammer 40k precons this weekend and I had a blast: not only on how they play but the delight to have a full deck with coherent artworks, always on theme and flavorful. I'm thinking about upgrading the Necron deck in particular and would love to add a few cards.
